MABP Patagonia
March 2010
By Lai Guim
At the beginning of the XX century, a group of swiss immigrant arrived to the southern Chile, to establish a small colony dedicated to the lumber industry. The infrastructure they built still remains there in Puerto Yartou, abandoned. The Switzerland in Puerto Yartou Foundation will convert this architectural vestiges into a Museum to rescue and broadcast the part of the history that was written there.
Workspace was in charge of this project’s website. Its audience are mainly swiss and chilean, so we built a trilingual display of the contents, in spanish, english and french over WordPress.
The logotype for the Museum Alberto was made by the artist Ingrid Lauw and inspired the Graphic Design of the website. The Photography of the project is work of the visual artist María Luisa Murillo.
